Fall back into healthy habits!
Summer is coming coming to an end, which means kids are going back to school, cooler weather is coming, and holidays are right around the corner.
This season changes makes it a great time to check in with yourself and solidify some simple healthy habits that may have gotten lost in the hustle and bustle of summer.
Here a few to get you started:
1. Protein: fuel that muscle growth
- Aim for a palm of protein at each meal
- Examples: chicken, lean beef, fish, Greek yogurt, etc
2. Fiber: support digestion
- Aim for 2-3 servings of high fiber foods daily
- Examples: berries, apples, broccoli, kale, flaxseeds, chia seeds, quinoa, etc.
3. Water: support energy and vitality
- Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water (more if you Sweat!)
- include electrolytes if necessary
4. Movement: motion is lotion!
- Prioritize your workout sessions
- Include a 10-20 minute walk daily
- Do a 5 minute stretching/mobility routine

Choose one of the above to get started today! And keep in mind when working on these habits: it’s not always about doing more, but doing less with more intention.
